CSCK® optimizes cellular biological functions, proving useful in degenerative and neoplastic pathologies.

CSCK® is a biodynamic supplement designed to optimize the synergism of Phosphatidylserine , Nicotinamide , Beta-Carotene and Vitamin D. To optimize their biochemical action, the components are solubilized in demineralized and dynamized water with systems derived from BQT (Bioenergem Quantum Technology).

BIOCHEMICAL INFORMATION

  • Phosphatidylserine : phospholipid constituent of the cell membrane which plays an important role in the dynamics of the cell cycle specifically in mechanisms linked to apoptosis. The molecule is composed of glycerol to which two fatty acids are linked and a phosphate group linked to the amino acid serine. Phosphatidylserine is present in greater quantities in the cell membranes of neurons. At this level, in fact, phosphatidylserine contributes to maintaining the cellular permeability necessary to allow the entry of nutrients and the elimination of biological waste substances. It is believed to have favorable effects on mnemonic-cognitive faculties linked to aging processes.
Phosphatidylserine is inadequately regulated in the tumor microenvironment with antagonistic activity towards immune defenses. Finally, the mechanism is emerging by which agents targeting phosphatidylserine could have significant therapeutic value in cancer and infectious diseases. (Xiaoyang Qi, PhD)
  • Nicotinamide : the term niacin or vitamin B3 or PP refers to two similar molecules: nicotinic acid (niacin proper) which has multiple biological effects in addition to the prevention of pellagra and its amide (Nicotinamide) a fundamental component of two molecules coenzymes: NAD (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) and NADP (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate). Both NAD and NADP are involved in multiple redox reactions of both catabolic and anabolic pathways, contributing to normal energy metabolism (claim approved by EFSA). The National Health and Medical Research Council jointly sponsored a study on skin cancer with Blackmores Pharmaceuticals, which supplied the nicotinamide. The authors concluded that taking nicotinamide is effective, in the absence of adverse events, for reducing the incidence of skin cancers, including melanoma and actinic keratosis, in patients at high risk for these pathologies.
  • Beta-Carotene : is an organic compound that belongs to the category of carotenoids, group of carotenes, terpene provitamins of plant origin that represent the precursors of vitamin A.
Carotene was first isolated from carrot root by the scientist Wackenroder in 1831 and its structure was determined by Willstatter and Mieg in 1907. In 1914 Palmer and Eckles discovered the presence of carotene first in farm animals and then in human body, in 1957, thanks to Moore's work, it was certain that carotene was the precursor of vitamin A by conversion by the liver. In 1995, scientists Garewal and Diplock established that beta-carotene is transformed into vitamin A in organisms, but only if the organism actually needs it. It is important to underline that the absorption of carotenoids is very variable and therefore it is difficult to provide a certain conversion factor for the transformation into vitamin A.
It is currently assumed that 1 IU of vitamin A is comparable to 0.3 micrograms of retinol, 1.8 micrograms of beta-carotene and 3.6 micrograms of other carotenoids. Compared to other carotenes, beta-carotene has greater nutritional importance, converted into retinol it constitutes a necessary element for good vision and in the form of vitamin A it contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Many studies show a benefit of beta-carotene in cancer therapy. In 1989, the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center demonstrated a decrease in uterine cancer rates with beta-carotene intake. One study showed that colon cancer inhibited its development by taking 30 mg of beta-carotene per day. Researchers from the University of Arizona demonstrated that using 30 mg of beta-carotene per day for precancerous oral lesions achieved total or partial regression in 71% of cases.
  • Vitamin D : refers to a group of 5 fat-soluble prohormones, indicated by the names vitamin D1, D2, D3, D4 and D5. Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) are the most important forms of this group with similar biological activity. Vitamin D3 is synthesized in animals starting from the cholesterol molecule, precisely from 7-dehydro-cholesterol, while vitamin D2 is synthesized in plants starting from ergosterol, by the action of ultraviolet rays. In humans, vitamin D3 is produced in the skin almost exclusively as cholecalciferol, especially in the summer months, so that part of this overproduction is then available in the winter period.
The biological action of vitamin D3 is carried out by calcitriol which, as a form of active hormone, acts on specific receptors of the cell membranes that control the proliferation and growth of cancer stem cells, providing protection against the onset of cancer and contributing to normal function. of the immune system. In addition to the well-known action on bone metabolism, it acts for good muscle functioning in some forms of dementia and plays a modulating role in diabetes mellitus in specific treatment and in cardiovascular pathologies.
